Justin Martinez
My name is Justin Martinez, and I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I have lived in Texas all my life, and could not see myself anywhere else. When I am not studying, I like entertainment. Entertainment has a big role in my life because I enjoy the art form, and like to see its progression. I can spend hours analyzing the changes in television shows and music over time. I spent a lot of high school coaching a group of young adults about public speaking, and find helping the youth fulfilling. EMFC has allowed me to enjoy my hobbies, while helping the community.

My work experience includes working in childcare for three years, and working in the medical field for fifteen. I am passionate about helping others through educational or moral support. I am a mother of two little boys, ages four-years old and ten months. I love interacting with children of all ages. My career goal after graduation is to teach Pre-K or Kinder age children. Being a part of EMFC is a great way to enjoy what I am very passionate about, and at the same time, enjoy working with children and their families.

Kevin Allen Jr.
My name is Kevin Allen Jr., and I am originally from Riverside California. I have alot of family that grew up in Michigan so I'm a huge Detroit sports fan. Right now I'm currently studying for a Mechanical Engineering degree at Texas A&M Kingsville. During high school, I started to think about what I wanted to do in life. It basically came down to two choices: Engineer or Teacher. I chose the engineering field, but still have plenty of experience working with kids. I volunteered with the PALS (Peer Assistance and Leadership) program with my local high school for two years. I assisted second grade students with their reading assignments, and also helped them with other school subjects like math. I enjoy working with children of any age because your actions will have a lasting impact on their lives.
Researcher:
Adriana Salinas
My name is Adriana Salinas, I am twenty-two years old, and I currently attend Texas A&M University – Kingsville. My major is in Agricultural Business. I was born in Brownsville, Texas, and raised in Mexico. I moved to Mexico when I was four years old because of my dad’s job. It has been one of the most difficult times for me and my family because everything was different. The people, language, food, and traditions were all different. Fortunately, I adapted quickly, and now I can say I love it. I have been working at the Marc Cisneros Center for Young Children as a student teacher for two years. There, I have learned a lot about children, and how to interact with them. EMFC is an awesome organization that has allowed me to keep doing what I love.
Public Relations:
Cristina Gonzalez
I am currently studying Communications Disorders and Science Disorders at Texas A&M University at Kingsville. I was born and raised in a small town, in the lower Rio Grande Valley, known as Mercedes. Mercedes is a small community, and I have always enjoyed spending time with the children within the community. Now, as a full time mother to a beautiful 4 year old, Allison Rose, my love of children has grown. I enjoy spending time with Allison, and watching her grow. I involve myself in her education, and believe the entertainment industry plays a big role as well. There are plenty of entertainment sources available, but not all are age appropriate. My goal in this organization is to provide reviews of these sources, and inform parents on what may be age appropriate for their children.
